Job Description
Position Overview:
Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager, Business Development Wireless Connectivity and Micro Solutions to develop and grow a profitable and sustainable business in the US region for wireless connectivity and micro solutions. This role is a customer facing position that will work closely with Molex Sales and Marketing as wells the business unit NPI engineering teams to develop and execute a strategic business plan leveraging MSBU's design and manufacturing strengths, Molex's global sales and distribution channels, Molex global manufacturing.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for developing and driving business pipeline in specified region for both standard and custom product solutions. This includes:
setting customer engagement plan and travel to customer locations as required for Molex ABU technology and product presentation
managing the execution of the business plan including timely tracking and reporting of revenue, profit, revenue pipeline and accurate forecasting.
Ensure alignment between business unit and in region sales and marketing team.
Works closely with global product managers and business unit director to ensure product and technology roadmap aligns with regional and global POV and responsible for research to analyze competitive position, market trends, and technological direction for specified region.
Identifies product trends and technologies; Justifies investments in new products and technologies.
Owner of economic study and validation of in region business opportunities to ensure business pipeline meets profit targets.
Serves as point of contact for sales and customers as industry expert in areas of technology and roadmap, product needs, and business processes
Acts as technical consultant to help customer design their systems. Maintains open communications with customers to provide updates on the program and responds to the customer requests on a timely basis.
Works with FEA and NPI teams to coordinate all activities to ensure successful launch, ramp-up and/or transfer of customer program.
Position Qualifications
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or a technical area of study.

years' combined experience in relevant areas such as business development, technical sales, FEA or product design with direct exposure to manufacturing of electro-mechanics at OEM or sub-assembly level
Willing and able to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Advanced degree MBA, Advanced Technical degree Engineering (electronics, mechanical, etc.).
Previous experience in business development or sales with an antenna or electro-mechanics company.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer relations skills. Must be sensitive to the customer's needs and show a sense of urgency to address customer issues.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to identify customer's functional requirements and map to Molex design and manufacturing expertise
Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload. Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts to respond positively to situations.
Strong presentation skills that show the ability to prepare and deliver concise and effective presentations to customers and Molex personnel
Strong computer skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
