Right now, we are seeking a Business Development Specialist.
In this role, you will identify, create and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate foreign exchange and international payment sectors as related to the FI (Banking) Industry. You will be responsible for attraction/expansion establishing new business relationships within our core FI (Banking) client base and engaging the core client's efforts in providing services to their respective markets. You will effectively identify and communicate appropriate foreign exchange and/or payment solutions to FI (Banking) organizations within a designated geographic territory. You are accountable for the attraction, retention and expansion of our FI (Banking) business success.
In addition, you will:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Contact FI clients and set appointments with new business opportunities
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Market and close sales opportunities for WUBS foreign exchange products and international payment services
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Build and maintain strategic business relationships with existing and prospective clients
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop and utilize networking opportunities to establish WUBS as a credible member of the professional community and to identify and create new business opportunities
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Research and analyze clients' business objectives, identify their foreign exchange and international payment requirements, and design a benefits-based solution and action plan demonstrating how WUBS can meet client needs
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop sales strategies and plan to best position products and services
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Manage the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales/pipeline reports, and competitor information
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Partner with marketing to implement marketing/brand awareness campaigns for prospective clients as well as conduct ongoing analysis of the market to identify business opportunities
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Partner with client to develop with their marketing team strategies and plan of action to expand market share
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Communicate customer requirements, sales, and lead information with the trading team and management
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Adhere to Compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, as well as all company policies
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Represent WUBS in a professional manner at all times and at various business networking and prospecting events including: National Trade Shows, Regional Trade Shows and local market events
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Meet and exceed sales targets
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Establish a productive business development executives/sales/dealer relationship
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop and maintain sales pipeline on Salesforce.com
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Perform all other reasonable duties as requested by management or management delegate
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Minimum 2 years of business to business solution sales experience with a proven track record - essential
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Proven record in solution selling within the financial services marketplace and/or business-to-business segment; preferred "banking industry"
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Excellent communication and listening skills
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ability to identify opportunities and control sales process to close a deal with a win/win outcome
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ability to ask probing questions to understand needs of customer

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
