Job Description
EMC is looking for a strong, experienced field marketing manager with account based marketing experience to drive growth initiatives against region with a targeted set of accounts. The successful candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the role and will have demonstrated a proven track record of success in driving field and account based marketing results, preferably within the IT industry. The ideal marketer has strong business development experience, a business oriented strategic marketing background, strong analytical skills, as well as strategic planning and execution experience.
The Consultant Integrated Marketing Manager will work in partnership with multiple disciplines to drive visibility, engagement and demand in target accounts including sales, global campaigns, digital and insight teams, corporate marketing, product/solution marketing, partner marketing and field/regional marketing.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Jointly develop segment and account-based growth strategy and execution plan in partnership with strategic sales on segment and specific, prioritized accounts.
Work with cross-functional teams across marketing to meet and exceed the marketing plan objectives.
Define and manage budget allocation.
Develop and execute a robust contact and persona management and engagement strategy for target accounts, inclusive of messaging aligned to customer objectives, the right mix of marketing tactics to engage the account and marketing support during and after the sales process.
Develop innovative and creative programs to promote brand and relationships at the target segments and accounts.
Ownership and accountability of KPIs and success measures to drive growth in the accounts. Gain buy-in for measurement models from key stakeholders.
Measure, analyze and report on the impact of account based marketing plan on sales pipeline revenue (marketing sourced and influenced). Support the quarterly business review for accounts.
Partner with Digital and Insight team to understand customer journey, identify targets for specific media, social and nurture programs.
Align with Partner Marketing develop segment strategy and drive programs within segment and ABM accounts.
Develop and provide ongoing sales enablement to ensure alignment and consistency.
Incorporate global initiatives and product launches into the marketing plan.
Understand and remain current with IT industry trends that impact the enterprise segment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
10 years of progressive marketing experience, including strategy, development and execution.
Direct experience driving account based marketing programs, strategic planning and field execution.
Likely background in a similar technology, software or solutions company.
Previous sales experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
