team member needed to conduct field evaluations of existing structures and develop
repair
plans and drawings based on analysis of the defects. Support construction during the execution of the repairs.Experience in Refining, Chemical, Power, Steel, or Similar Process Industry preferred.
JobDuties:
Conduct field evaluation of existing structures/structural components of systems.
Conduct root cause failure analysis of items in need of repair/ replacement.
Develop analytical models as necessary in the development of the repairs and modifications.
Specify materials to be purchased, prepare procurement requisition packages, review shop drawings, etc.
Preparescope of work packages for construction.
Integrate repair plans with multi-discipline engineering and planning teams to complete work during facility outages.
Provide construction planning support and technical assistance.
Provide technical support for field execution during facility outages.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering
Experience: Up to 5 Years
Industry Skills:
Knowledgeof ACI318, AISC, ASCE-7, IBC required.
Familiarity with field evaluations of existing structures preferred.
Structural modeling experience preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
