Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team-player to assist in managing multiple projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical and specialty chemical industries.
You may be assigned projects from award to closeout or projects at various stages of development.
This position may be resident at one of our client sites or from our office in Lisle, IL.
Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
oSupport the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling assigned aspects of projects.
oWork hand in hand with Project Managers, various engineering disciplines, Estimators, Contractor Foremen and General Superintendents oTechnical communication / coordination lead across all engineering disciplines, Client, General Contractors, Vendors, Subcontractors and Management StaffoDeveloping Scopes of Work for construction of engineered designs.
oMake sure projects are following the scope and scheduleoProcessing submittals from vendors to working through revision and equipment releasingoLead Client and Contractor interface, scheduling / attend meetings, and provide written reportsoAssist in constructability planning, proposal and estimate developmentMinimum

oEducation:
Bachelor of Science in Engineeringo
Experience:
Min Yr = 3 Max Yr = 15+oTechnical Skills:
Scheduling and planning software experience preferredoManagement:
Experience leading small teams requiredoOther Skills:
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projectsProfessional Development Opportunities:
oExpanding experience in larger, more diverse and complex projectsoGrowth in leading technical teams as subject matter expert or Project ManageroAdvance skills in multi-discipline technical and managerial issuesoExposure to cost controls, estimating, scheduling, and team management Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Constructability Construction Coordinating Creativity Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
